Red vs Blue Wars Firefight Friday

Cancel that date and get that 12 pack of Red Bull ready because it is time for Firefight Friday!  A night filled with bodies, guns and random confetti with kids screaming "YYAAAAYY!!!".  
The map for this month is Windward

What is Firefight Friday?:

Firefight Friday is an event that happens monthly in which players compete for a team promotion.  Players must play Halo 3:ODST Legendary Firefight mode ,alone or with other members, and try to get the highest score possible.  After players finish playing, they should go to Bungie.net and post a link to their stats (instructions below).  The team with the highest point value wins a promotion for each member of the team.


Rules:

  • Members of Red vs Blue Wars only.
  • Must be on the designated map. (Windward)
  • Must be on LEGENDARY difficulty.
  • The game must be played and stats must be posted on February 19, or the data will be considered void.
  • Will not receive a rank up if you are 1 rank away from a huge promotion (enlisted-officer.  officer-admin) unless the rank up was being considered.
  • Players cannot win a rank up 2 months in a row.

Instructions for obtaining stats:

  1. go to Bungie.net and sign in or search your name in the "people finder.
  2. Go to your "Service Record"
  3. Click the tab that says "Halo 3: ODST"
  4. At the ODST page, links are displayed underneath the Halo Tabs.  Click "Firefight History"
  5. All of the games that you have played are on a giant list now.  click the game record of the game you played (most recent at the top of the list)
  6. Copy and paste the address to the record.


No signups required, but a forum will be posted for looking for teammates to help and to post stats up.  If any rules are broken (non member playing, non Legendary, etc...) your stats will not count.  Have fun!

Just for reference, I'm better at flying a chopper than Chez is.

In one game, I managed to forget how to go higher in the Blackhawk. Somehow, after going nose first into the trees, not only did I not get everyone on the chopper killed, but I splattered a guy on the other team.

Chez, however, didn't know how to go forward so crashed and killed himself and three people (I escaped just in time) behind our base).
